Motorola teases a new Edge, to be unveiled on February 24

For a while now, we've heard rumors about Motorola planning to launch the Edge X30 outside of China as the Edge 30 Pro. We've even heard that this phone is to be unveiled before the end of the month - and guess what? Motorola basically just confirmed that.

Through the tweet you see below, the company is teasing a new Edge-branded phone launch for February 24. Well, at least one phone - it could be an entire family, it's unclear.

Anyway, we expect to see the Edge X30, already available in China, finally make its global debut. If the Edge 30 Pro does in fact turn out to be just a rebrand of that device, then expect it to come with a 6.7" 1080x2400 144 Hz OLED screen, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, 8/12GB of RAM, 128/256GB of storage, a triple rear camera setup (50 MP main with OIS, 50 MP ultrawide, 2 MP depth sensor), a 60 MP selfie snapper, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 68W fast charging. It should run Android 12 from day one.
